My Story

A Voice That Took a Lifetime to Find

Bobby Wihnyk

Bobby Wihnyk is a storyteller, songwriter, and lifelong educator who believes that it's never too late to create something meaningful.

At 81, Bobby has found a new voice through music, writing lyrics drawn from a lifetime of experiences: love, loss, faith, family, and the quiet moments in between. After writing the lyrics, he uses modern tools and AI-assisted composition to transform deeply personal reflections into songs that resonate with honesty and emotional depth.

Before this chapter, Bobby spent decades in education as an English teacher, a technology director, and the founder of Focus Media, an educational publishing company. His life has always centered on communication, creativity, and connection. Songwriting has simply become the most personal expression of those same values.

Today, Bobby shares his music through lyric videos, written reflections, and curated collections designed to be experienced, remembered, and passed on.
